Connecting as a disk drive will not work to get internet access, I would suggest using active sync. Also try installing the cab that I have attached to this post, when you plug in your phone it will give you 3 options now, the third one is Internet Sharing. Try that out. If not, if your PC has Blue Tooth capability, I use Bluetooth internet sharing on mine and it works just fine.

You will still need activesync installed on the pc you want to tether to. Activesync installs all the drivers needed to activesync and for Phone as a modem. You probably have a lack of drivers.

No, Vista has the Windows Mobile Device Center. IMO it lacks the connectivity that ActiveSync has, but, what can you do?

True.. I know i've been able to tether before and recently I have not been able to. I have the ICSFix and all that jazz. Is there something I'm missing?
