Smile Tom Tom Blocks "Start" Menu

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I've looked for this in my Touch Pro Manual, in my Tom Tom Manual and I've tried searching this Forum but so far, haven't had any luck.

With most every program I use I still have access to the bar on top of my phone. I'm referring to the bar that has the "Start" Menu, Quick Menu and Status Icons.

When I'm using Tom Tom Navigator 6, it completely blocks that bar. The only way to get to another program is to exit out of Tom Tom, do whatever I need to do then start Tom Tom up again.

Has anybody seen this before or have any suggestions?

Anything would be appreciated.

Thanks,

KCHruby

If you hit the Home key it should minimize the program into you're task manager. You can re-access it by hitting the drop down menu in the right corner and tapping tomtom. I feel your pain.

Re: Tom Tom Blocks "Start" Menu

Ok, I'm an idiot!

I can't believe I forgot about the "Home" Key. I guess that's why I couldn't find it when I searched the forum--only an idiot would forget about the "Home" Key.

You're my hero! Thank you very much for the reply and the assistance.

Re: Tom Tom Blocks "Start" Menu

Sometimes when I would do it tho.....as soon as I touched another part of the screen it would maximize tomtom again immediatly. It got really annoying. I also was using an older version of the software so I am not completely sure if it was just how it works or an actual issue fixed in later versions......Don't forget to hit the Thanks buttons when you find the help you were looking for.
