holy crap.. Someone help quick.. lol

Ok.. i unlocked and flashed a touch pro to work on cricket for a buddy. He's trying to get it activated right now on cricket and they just called me asking for the activation code. lol.. I zeroed out the spc code to 6 0's like the tutorial said and even updated the PRL to a cricket PRL. They can't tell me what special code they want, the rambled something about *228 and i said that yea, that will update the prl and that i had already flashed a cricket prl to the phone.. I figured all they needed to do was enter the ESN into their system and update the prl Am i missing something? Do i need to give them the sprint code to update the prl? if so what is the code for that? HELP PLEASE my buddy is at cricket right now.

unfortunately, if they can't get the MSL code from the ESN. You wouldn't be able to do it there. there are softwares listed throughout the forums here, for you to lookup your MSL code. however, it would require you to bring your phone home, and do it, then bring it back. and give the guy the MSL code. I just cant figure out why they cant figure it out on their own.

Re: holy crap.. Someone help quick.. lol

I'm really not sure. I think you have a local calling area and if you are outside that you are roaming. I don't use them. I just wanted to learn how to get phones on their network. Maybe make a little money off craigslist doing it since cricket charges 75 dollars to do it and it's really not too hard.

Re: holy crap.. Someone help quick.. lol

i tried pointui when it was in beta, and it was better than touchflo but not enough for me. touchflo was having trouble switching to the text tab because of all my texts, so i figured what the hell... but after a few hours of it, and the lack of the upper right hand task manager, it just didn't do enough. i would try again, but i've gotten so used to titanium, and it does exactly what i want it to do.
