HTC Dialer Vs. Iconsoft Phonex Dialer- Battery

Does consuming a lesser memory footprint equate to eating up less battery? When I install Iconsoft's PhoneX I get about 3-4% more free memory. I actually like the dialer and the interface, but I'm curious to see if anybody has experience about the battery life on the TOUCH PRO.

*I already have the dialer- not trying to get it for free...by this post

i would say yes, as your phone is not trying to process as much information. how much was the dialer? i suppose i could be active and look it up too...

I use Inesoft Phone4 which is very similar to iconsoft (I've tried both & prefer Inesoft).

I really haven't noticed that it affected the batt life enough to notice.

The one thing I have done to my phone that DRAMATICALLLY increased batt life was switching to Merdin's awesome 6.5 ROM, that made a HUGE difference........

Hmm, im sure just the polling for g-sensor and light is increased. What else can he do besides having 6.5 that is more special?
