There is a new fade effect when opening new messages. ask in Juicy forum they may be able to help disable it

Re: 6.5/Juicy 7 - SLOW when Clicking on Links and Notifications
I experienced something similar but not the exact. I read somewhere that huge amounts of texts can cause problems. I have 2 threads with hundreds maybe thousands of messages. I deleted these 2 threads to clear it out, and it is much snappier. I use my-phone to restore after a flash and such fyi, but my 2 big threads are just unless chat so no prob to get rid of. If you have thousands of texts on your phone try deleting a good chunk of them.

Re: 6.5/Juicy 7 - SLOW when Clicking on Links and Notifications
Thanks for info.
Just for clarification, the slowness is not so much with viewing messages (opening, closing, scrolling) as much as when you click on a hyperlink (phone number, email, etc) or on the senders name (underline and linked). Most of the time nothing happens. Occaisionally I get the new popup menu that shows (save to contacts, send email by outlook). Also, when I click on a phone number that is linked and get the new screen (verify that number is correct...) I can click on "Make Call" but it takes me to the dialer and then nothing happens. thanks for any ideas.... |

Re: 6.5/Juicy 7 - SLOW when Clicking on Links and Notifications
UPDATE!!!
I have determined the cause of the issue. All of the links seem to work fine right wne phoen boots up. After SPB Mobile SHell 3.0 starts, the links do not work. If I exit SPB Shell they work as normal. Did some research and seems to be someone having a similiar issue at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=513729 Anyone else have this issue with 6.5 and SPB Mobile Shell? |
