Re: Can I use Gmail for ActiveSync account?

Although I'm not sure this means I can use Gmail properly using Activesync, I believe Google just took one more step closer by allowing Google Sync to use push email. Anyone try this yet with Activesync?

I just setup it up. I am not getting emails as they come in, even though ActiveSync is set to get itmes "as they arrive". Maybe servers are real busy if everyone is jumping on this? I'll give it some time and see how it works out.

I just set my ActiveSync to download items as they arrive. It seems to be better now, ie, it down loads emails pretty much when they get in my inbox on the web. I think it is just the initial server load.....

Hopefully it should be getting better for everyone as time goes on. But, they is just my guess

This allows you to use GMail as your active sync account. Microsoft Licenses the usage of the exchange protocol, essentially enabling Google to use push email VIA the active sync account.

It is sooooooooooooo awesome.
