text (x) # not going away

I am having a problem that when i recieve a few text messages i have to click the message wait a few seconds and click OK for every single message. it acts like threaded isn't active and its just regular messaging.
threaded is working correctly.
im using wm6.1 and SSK 2.0 but i have seen this on other roms with 6.0 and 6.1. i stil haven't tried 6.5 yet.

edit:
it seems to be 'opening' every sms seperatly as if it wasn't threaded. the icon's change to that theory also.

edit:
if i use the control to move over each message in the 'thread' it does 'read' them but that is still a little hassle.

anyone know of the locations of the sms information in the registry? other than the threaded stuff? its possible it might just need a kick start to say auto read all messages in each thread?

go to Start>settings>system tab>text messaging uncheck threadded messages then soft reset your phone. when your phone turns back on turn it back on and see if that works. if not do the same but before turning it back on delete all your messages and try it again

i went ahead and reinstalled another rom, 6.5, and its not doing it currently.... guess ill just keep looking for one that doesn't cause this issue :\

ok i reread your message and mine does that SOMETIMES when my phone is busy. like if i get a txt while opening a txt, rarely it happens though. weird. you should report to who you got the rom from and maybe its a bug?
