Question about Touch Pro keyboard

I have been doing a lot of research and it seems the keyboard for the touch pro is very poorly made (or at least the ribbon that connects it). With that being said has anyone owned a touch pro for a long time without having to repair/fix it? I am still contemplating on getting one...

Re: Question about Touch Pro keyboard

Have had to replace my TP just once for the fit/finish issue with the d-pad home key sticking out. Been with my NIB replacement since January. Just lucky, I guess. I have friends that are on their 5-7th TP after having purchased after me.

All different issues; cosmetic issues, usb not charging, keyboard not working, touchscreen not responsive and the famous "my phone is a pos" replacement.

I've not babied mine either, its been dropped!

Maybe hold out for the TP2, its getting good reviews for how solid it feels.
