When will we expect the rom upgrade for the touch pro sprint roms? And will it include the new 6.5? Anyone know? :scratch:

I'd like to know this myself (with or without 6.5) I think the touch pro could use a update. I've tried custom roms but it's not the same as a official one.

Please edit the title so that it looks like question and not a statement. Punctuation please. There is no indication that there will be any upgrades as of late. Especially to WinMo6.5.

An update was just released for the Fuze, so one would hope an update for the Sprint version would be coming soon.

At one point there was an upgrade in the pipeline. What with the TP2 coming out, who knows. The just released Fuze ROM update takes care of some known bug issues. Maybe, depending on how well the Pre and TP2 do will we see any mention. Doesn't look like the recession has swayed any potential buyers from the Pre/TP2 craze. The more people convert to those devices, the less people will complain about the current TP.

Of course not. Custom ones are MUCH faster.

Yea the custom 6.5 ROMs are fantastic. Though maybe if an official release of 6.5 comes out, the ROM cookers can build more stable 6.5 ROMs.

I posted the update email that I got from Sprint two weeks ago. Yes, wm6.5 and it will be in the late summer or early fall. Also, most Sprint stores have a TP that is running the new os wm6.5. Our Hampton, VA store got a beta copy a month ago, The tech let me see it while I was waiting for my 3rd Tp.

Wow - that's surprising! I figured Sprint would release only a 6.1 ROM with fixes...

I don't understand why everyone hates one sprint. The mogul got the 6.1 upgrage when 6.1 became available, why wouldn't the tp get the 6.5 upgrade. Also sprint isn't abandoning the tp just because the tp2 is coming out. People need to releaze the tp and the tp2 are the same phone exact the bigger screen and the speaker phone option, but the tp1 has flash and a directional keypad. Sprint will continue to sell both of these phones for awhile with hopes of people having 2 winmo devices to choose from.
