Backup and restore headache
I have been trying ot cook my own rom with the PPC Kitchen Build OS tool, and get a 6.5 rom going.
I have figured out that Sprite doesn't like going from 6.1 to 6.5 (at least that is the jest I am getting). So I downgraded to a 6.1 rom again to recover my precious data. My preciousssssssss Anyhow, I would like to know what the best migration tool to use is when changing to a 6.5 rom, from a 6.1. Thanks for any ideas. I hope I don't stir up a hornets nest, ala the Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge type of debate. |

SPB Backup has a nifty feature called ROM Upgrade Mode, designed for situations just like yours. It restores everything but the registry settings of your old ROM. Give it a whirl.
