Sprint now covers all in warranty units at no charge. The eTicket application automatically shows if the phone is in warranty or not. If it is and there is no physical damage to your phone, it should get replaced at no cost to you. Hope this helps.

Yup, Sprint is to cover in warranty issues free of charge.

This is the thead some of you were talking about regarding concating HTC directly and you all might want to read it in full to get the real detals of what some of us discussed there. However it's a moot thread now that Sprint will do in warranty replacements free of charge.

on the flipside they did order you a replacement phone so im not sure what else your expecting to get

No I'm definitely ok with what they did to make it work in the short time. Today when I woke up the phone's battery was dead (like I expected) so I had to spend the greater part of the day phone-less, but it wasn't that bad.

I went in this afternoon and they took it apart again. Apparently the tech forgot to connect something up. Now it charges and vibrates and the reset hole works. It still looks like it was put in a rock tumbler with razorblades.

Yeah, they put a new one on order, which I'm happy about. I think it worked out ok ;)
