blue ice cooled phone chiller

I am working on a simple cooling bed for my phone for when it is charging or when I'M using it for internet on my laptop. The phone heats up a bit and even after 3 new phones, they all heat up. Like if it is linked to my laptop and is charging, it will heat up and not charge if the battery gets hot. So I figure making a fan cooled holder for my phone will help to keep it cool.
I will post pics of the finished product when I get done.
Use blue ice to cool it down better. Since the device I am working on has a double wall between the phone and the cooling fan, the condensation will drip down and never reach the fan.

I know it's been done, but the one's I have read about or have seen are cost a lot more than the one I can make out of and old remote control car and a blackberry power supply. Cost for me, maybe $2.00. Also my cooling bed has a spot to put in blue ice to help cool the phone down better. Condensation is not an issue because with a double wall leading to the phone from the fan, the condensation drips down and never reaches the phone.

I just lay my phone on a flexible gel cold pack. I keep several in the freezer (they are less than $2 at walmart), and I use a dishtowel over it in case of condensation - although I've never really had a problem (the dishtowel doesn't get damp, so it can't be much). It really helps on long conference calls.

Anyone find it ridiculous that we have to go to such lengths to perform tasks that our phones were advertised to do? It's a little upsetting that i paid 432 dollars for this phone and i need a cooling device for it to talk for an extended amount of time..
