Rename 6.5 default today screen items?
 

Is it possible to rename these items? (voicemail, phone, text)

Not that I have figured out yet, which sucks, because I have all of the other plugins that I loaded renamed (from within that plugin's configuration) to be more my style (i.e. "Fave People " is now "My Peepz").

Have you tried poking around in the registry? I think I recall reading here or at xda that all the Titnaium stuff is in the registry, so it should be able to be changed. I just haven't bother to look around yet...

not yet. I'm sure its in there tho, because of the names... I've only changed ATContacts to "friends" as it shows in my pic... someones bound to make a cab for this...

Edit: with your tip on the registry, I found their location

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE : software>microsoft>CHome
I can't find any value for the name of the item, though... I thought at first it was LocName but that's not it.

Actually I poked around the registry a little after my last post. All of the Titanium stuff is here:

HKLM/Software/Microsoft/CHome/

In there you will notice that ATFavePeople has the key CondensedPage/PluginLabel and you can change that value, which changes the label in Titanium (if you open that key yours will say "friends").

When I mimic that same design and create a CondensedPage/PluginLabel value for any other key (i.e. cText) it does not change the label. So therefore, it must be something with the way that MS did Titanium for their default tabs.

Frustrating... though I will keep playing with it...

i havent tried but for example i think it is

hklm\software\microsoft\chome\ctext

locname= text change to txtin'

Nope. I tried LocName... that's not it. I could tell from the beginning because CEmail's LocName is "email" but in titanium it's "e-mail"
