Opera Favorites - and "scrolling"

Hey all,

Has anyone else here noticed that it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to scroll successfully through your Opera favorites on your TP?

As soon as you start scrolling, it begins to move veeerrry slow, so you have to flick again, then it SPEEDS along - and it's nearly impossible to stop the list without accidentally going to whichever bookmark you clicked on when trying to stop the scrolling....

Now, why Can't everything scroll as nicely as Resco Contact Manager, or those other apps that scroll so smoothly that you say WOW every single time...

Ok - had to get it out...

Thanks,

Matt!

Yep. I have given up on scrolling. I have to use my thumbnail to use the scroll bar on the right hand side.

Perhaps on the next update, they can try and make that scrollbar even smaller :???:

Later,

Matt!

Does this help? I use this app and it works great for any type of scrolling on my touch pro
TRy it out and see if it works.

Why scroll? You can start to type in the URL bar the site and it will select from your favorites. You just have to know one letter of the site you are going to for it to appear in the drop down list.

For some reason I find the kinetic scrolling in WM 6.5 to be more consistent and precise when scrolling in Opera.

In order to type, don't you have to use the hardware keyboard? I usually have the phone closed when I go to favorites and am "lazy" and don't want to switch to landscape mode just to type.....
