HELP! wifi detects networks but won't connect
I turn on my wifi and it detects all the signals in range, but then when i go to connect it won't do it. i then just put in the router settings manually and it still doesnt connect. i've tried it on several different routers with the same results, both open and protected ones. what possibly can be the problem?

Re: HELP! wifi detects networks but won't connect
I have noticed the same thing. It used to work, then all of a sudden, nothing. It finds them, says it's connecting and never does, just goes back to "discovering". I haven't tried it on a protected network recently... but the unrestricted wifi hasn't worked as of recently.

Re: HELP! wifi detects networks but won't connect
Seems odd... I have never ran into this issue with protected or open networks.

Another thing to check:
Make sure that the start/setting/connecitons/wifi/network adapter "tab" and the "IEEE 802.11 b/g Compatile Wi-Fi Adapter" check to see that the "Use server-assigned IP address" is checked. |
