Re: Use a strap, keeps phone safer!

The button is a sew on button, what I did was take a metal puncher and pocked the hole through the button, then insert the fishing line. I tied the line, then put super glue on the tied area to prevent it from from coming apart. My friends want me to make them one because the ones from the store use carpet thread and that breaks easy.

Re: Use a strap, keeps phone safer!

Nice idea, I'm disabled also.
I can't push all those hardware buttons on standard phones without nimble fingers.
Thats the #1 reason for purchasing a touchscreen.
I drop my phone a lot even with the rubberized hardcase.
Thanks,
Pics if u can!

Oh, I fond the pics. lol
Nice

Thumbs up Re: Use a strap, keeps phone safer!

Your welcome, when I use the camera, I would drop the Phone. Now I don't.
I figure making one is cheaper if you have the items to make one. Kmart has a 3 pack of girly straps for $10.00.

Re: Use a strap, keeps phone safer!

Hope you are in better health now, my father suffered a few strokes so I know how debilitating it can leave a person. I personally just took straps from my Nintendo Wii control and looped it in my phone and man does it help. Not to mention they are very sturdy seeing that they were made for very active people on the Wii

Re: Use a strap, keeps phone safer!

I am not disabled, but I do use a strap on my phone. When I tried to buy one, I went everywhere: phone stores, electronic stores, walmart, kmart, the mall - name it. They looked at me like I was stupid. Someone actually told me "they went out in the 80s".

I used one from the Wii we bought. I really like your idea alot!

I tried to buy one on eBay, but the first one was way too small for me, the other one a neck strap.

If you make these and would sell them, someone like me would've bought some!!
I'm not good at making things - just a klutz, I guess

Thanks for posting this!

Re: Use a strap, keeps phone safer!

Can you post a pic of how you have it attached to the phone?

Thanks,
