Screen Brightness Registry Entry ???

Does anyone know what registry entry controls the screen brightness intensity?

I would like to make the lowest brightness setting even lower to conserve battery.

Thanks.

Even dimmer? Are you spending all day in a closet or something? I searched and didn't find anything. 2nd dimmest is bad enough for me when I walk outside and have to walk back in the shade to send a text.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the registry entries under "current user" only allow the screen to be adjusted to within the pre-set limits.

I tried them all with no luck.

I am thinking that if it is possible to set the "Screen Brightness" limits lower, then a registry entry would have to be modified in the "local machine" section.

Thanks anyways.
