HTC Touch Pro Need Working Configuration Tool

Wondering if anyone knows of some kind of all in one configuration tool for the Touch Pro. I so far have gotten a free exchange from alltel, because I could not answer phone calls. Now I realize what the problem is, so I was wondering if there is a configuration tool besides Diamond Tweak or Advance Config out there that doesn't screw up registry files making this an issue? I was using just about every config option in the tools, and tried both of them seperately after doing hard resets numerous times. Phone is fine right now, answers, but is slower than I am used to having gotten used to the config tools. I know there is a fix for the registry somthing about *777 or something but doing this also undoes the funtion of turning off internet connection after a certain time, which just happens to be one of the bigest battery savers. So long story short, i want a fully working config tool, anyone got one?

Re: HTC Touch Pro Need Working Configuration Tool

Diamond Tweak doesn't cause me any problems at all, registry or otherwise. Schap's Advanced Config adds 4-5 buttons to the "Buttons" control panel that initially appear bogus. This actually does let you remap some of the function buttons on the slide-out keyboard. While it isn't in the least useful, it's not really a problem, either. Apart from that, it too seems to cause no registry or other problems. How did these "screw up registry files?"

I'm afraid I really wasn't able to follow what you are asking for with the #777 issue, but at this point it doesn't sound like a problem with either of those configuration tools. What, exactly, do you want a configuration tool to do?
