Freezing up and reseting

Has any one came across any issues like this?

The other day my phone froze up, just like normal i soft reset the phone, but when it booted back up I was prompted to re-calibrate and that that jazz...
It happened twice...idk what to do...

It happened with the new Mighty Mike Rom and silence..the builds are 21042 (silence) and 20771 (r3born)...

any suggestions???

sounds like a hardware problem or some program or tweak you're installing. What have you installed or changed?

Re: Freezing up and reseting

So basically it is hard resetting when you soft reset? I'm guessing cause you're saying the calibration screen comes up.

That's very strange, never heard of that in the 3 years i've been using wm phones. Freezing yes, but having to recalibrate afterward? no.
I'd ask someone who has the same rom or see if it's a piece of obscure software you've installed recently. It might just be beyond your control though.

get rid of those two and see if it still forces a hard reset. best way to find a resolution is to pinpoint the problem. see if those are causing it then you can try to find a solution to have those working without the reset problem. Kinda sounds weird for those to be causing hard resets though...

Re: Freezing up and reseting

More than weird...It shouldn't be possible for software to hard reset a phone unless that is what it is specifically designed to do. My vote is hardware issue.

Re: Freezing up and reseting

Do you use SPB Backup? Make sure your are using version 2.02 (latest as of April 2009) as earlier versions could cause that kind of behavior...
