extended batteries

Is the 1500mAh the strongest extended battery for the touch pro that doesn't require a different battery cover on the back of the phone?

Re: extended batteries

From what I've seen, yes. A rather negligible difference in power. Personally I'd recommend it only if your current battery NEEDS to be replaced, and/or you're looking to carry multiple batteries on you.

Re: extended batteries

I am planning on getting a second battery. I picked up a case for it today that has a pouch for a second battery. I don't think the phone would fit if I put in a thicker battery. I was thinking of picking one up for my second battery and I wasn't sure if that was the strongest one that was still standard size.

Re: extended batteries

A lot of people (including me) have gone to a Sprint store and asked about the battery life and ended up with an extra battery. I just went in and asked if they have had any complaints about the battery life. The rep said yes, went to the back and brought me a spare battery. I asked her how much I owed for it, she said nothing. Worth a shot...

I forgot to ask, what case did you get?

Re: extended batteries

Believe or not it is a vertical case that I found at WalMart. It is made of heavy canvas and elastic that is sewn and not glued. It is a nice case.

Re: extended batteries

So I've been searching high and low for an extended batteries for the TP. I've seen the Mugen 3000 mah battery for $100 but I'm not sure if I want that much bulk. Not only that, but the back cover doesn't have a lense cover so all kinds of dust and crap can get into the phone and I don't really like that.

I've seen the 1800mah battery on msgdigital:

http://www.msgdigital.com/productdet...roductid=47534

I prefer this cover but it's not much of an upgrade power wise.

I've also seen the extended battery from seido:

http://www.seidioonline.com/product-...20htch2-bk.htm

Again, not much of an upgrade as far as power and the door is hideous

Other than carrying another battery, are these the only options?! I consider myself a pretty heavy user. I just want something that will last me the day and not feel like I'm attached to a charger. I don't really like manually switching out batteries because that means I need to turn off my phone. Not really viable in the middle of a conversation and the battery is dying. Small sacrifice I know =/

Just looking for something that won't add a lot of bulk but also get me through the day. Any suggestions?

Haha, they had to "check my phone" when I brought it to the sprint store in the mall yesterday. So I left it with them, and came back an hour later(Took my sister over to t-mobile to pay 100 dollars to turn her phone back on, I keep telling her to drop them lol). When I came back the dude told me it wasn't just the battery, it was the entire phone. He said he was ordering me a brand new one. All I wanted was another battery lol. I tried to argue but realized how dumb I sounded cuz they were ordering me a brand new one.
