Re: A rare breed
I'm not a VZW user, but I know that this guy - lordshadowz - has helped out quite a few VZW users over on the MightyRom threads. Check out his help post here:

Re: A rare breed
I'm a huge fan of Scott's ROM's. I've never had any issues from his ROM's that were not caused by me. Also check out his website at http://www.sskusers.com.

Re: A rare breed
Hi everyone,
Here is something I thought and its not just because I work at VZW but something that could make sense but maybe not and I am just a total idiot or something. We all know that the MSM72XX boards from Qualcomm are f***ed up with not having a graphics acceleration drivers at all. We dont really sell any HTCs at all but come to think of it, I am the only that bought one from area sinced it launched. Anywho, what if such carriers signed an agreement with HTC saying that they will release such and such handset over the years regardless of what the handset can or cannot do. My only assumption would be to jack the price up and cripple the phone to detour people from buying it due to the lack of proper drivers and such. Thank god that WinMo 7 requires a 500 mhz processor and full access to openGL ES 2.0 for their next OS so that no crap like what Qualcomm is pulling on people that buy HTC phones. |

A buddy I work with uses Scott's ROMs on his VZW TP and he is having great results with it. So I would definitely give that a shot.
