Custom Taskbar Issue using Juicy 7 ROM
 

I posted this in the thread for juicy's rom but I haven't gotten a response, hopefully somebody out here can help:

I installed tsowen's taskbar 6v3.1...and everything work fine except for the "service signal" icon, no bars show up. It looks like I have no signal, but when i click the taskbar to see new notifications etc. it says I have full signal. I even tried installing the "lite" version of the taskbar and I have the same problem. Is this just me? Or does anyone know of a solution.

did you post in tsowens taskbar thread? i would think the answer is in there.

The answer is in Juicy's thread. I had the same problem. It was a simple registry edit

I don't remember but if it helps, I asked the question and Juicy answered it. I've since modded tsowen's cab to include that reg edit but i cant post it right now

you lose the 3G when you use these taskbars right? i dont want to lose it.

you mean the icon that says 3G? yes, it will be replaced, there's no change to your service, however

you need to do the reg edit from 7 bars of service to 5 bars or vice versa right there in Tsowen thread

Not on Juicy's latest ROM. That registry edit only effects HTC's signal .dll, which Juicy isn't using.
