Can't ActiveSync...

About a month ago I flased to one of the TP2 roms (I can't remember which one) but I have not tried to sync since. Today I decide I am going to switch roms again, and for whatever reason my device is not recognized by active sync or windows mobile device center.

If all else fails can I boot a rom off of the microsd card? How would I go about doing that?

Re: Can't ActiveSync...

When I try the micrro sd card method I get no image found then the bootloader screen. I know I named the file right and it is the only file on the card...

Anyone want to take a stab at getting active sync working?

Re: Can't ActiveSync...

make sure you have High Capacity SD card - if you don't it will not work.

You also might want to try re-installing active sync.

Re: Can't ActiveSync...

Flashing ROMs via the SD card works. Believe me, I flash ROMs about once a week and always do it with the SD card.

Flash from microSD Card (Thanks to MadlyAlive):

1. Make sure you backup anything that is necessary to your day to day operations! At a minimum, please perform an ActiveSync to Outlook or your Exchange server prior to flashing!
2. Rename the custom ROM NBH file from RUU_Signed.nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh
3. Copy RAPHIMG.nbh to the root of your microSD Card.
4. Hold the Volume Down and Power button simultaneously. While you're still holding those 2 buttons, press the reset button with your stylus.
5. When your Touch Pro tells you to do so, press the power button to begin the flash process. If you do not get the message to press the power button to flash, there is a mistake in the name of the NBH file or you do not have the file at the root of your microSD card.
6. When flashing is complete, perform a soft reset.

I have the same issue, My computer does not detect the phone and when I try the SD method, it just sits there on the flash bootscreen doing nothing.
