"Favorites" tab incredibly slow
 

I've now run 3 different ROMs and in all of them the "Favorites" tab is so slow that I hide it.

My favorite thing about Mobile Shell is that I get what's basically a "favorites" screen back.

I do have about 2,500 contacts in my phone. Is that the problem? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

2500 Contacts is a ton ... Would definitely slow down performance.

Well, I don't have 2,500 friends, but I am connected to my exchange server and pull all my work contacts.

I wonder if I can get the Favorites tab to just poll my actual favorites and not all 2,500 contacts. Normal WinMo contacts is fast for me, by the way.
