Touchpal Lag and Glitch on new Texts

Ok, so I've been using Touchpal since its inception. Recently, it has been really pissing me off because it will do the following (randomly):

First word will complete in the little highlit box, but when I press the space key (which puts the word into the text or IM chat) ONLY the first letter shows up.

In the middle of lengthy text messages, it will just STOP and make me wait for a few seconds.

Anyone know what could be causing these annoyances? Anyone else experiencing them?

I have had these issues on several ROMS, including Mighty Rom 4.x, Copper WM 6.5 and PsykiROM.

Re: Touchpal Lag and Glitch on new Texts

I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM (it's like the whole system freezes up for a second), using Mighty 4.16 (although it has done it with other ROM's also). I thought I was the only one who had that problem as I've never seen it posted before.

I have just learned to live with it, but it's infuriating...........

I've stopped using it because of this issues. I now use the Finger Keyboard.
As for fixes, I really think its a problem tied to 6.5. Not sure if the software is still being worked on to make a fully compatible version with 6.5.

6.5 has nothing to do with it, I am using Mighty 4.16 which is 6.1

Wow that's interesting. It has to be something that was recently updated in 6.1 then carried over to 6.5. Maybe the T9 ? It is annoying but I love my touch pal. (3 years and I just discovered setting high and low priority words the other day WOOT!)
