with headphones in, with 6.5, wmp doesn't play music when you press the power button. Yes i know you can assign a blank screen button but that's not good enough because keys are still unlocked.

Re: WMp play in suspend for wm6.5

that would definitely be unaccepatable, with winmo 6.5 if your headphones are plugged in and you turn off your phone, music will continue to play. i dont know which rom youre using, but i used copper and i built my own, and wmp works fine.

Re: WMp play in suspend for wm6.5

still can't get it to work correctly. anyone have any solution? it seems that streaming audio won't stay on while in suspend. (keep in mind, streaming audio uses data connection too)

Re: WMp play in suspend for wm6.5

AFAIK You cannot keep streaming audio on when the phone enters suspend mode. I don't think this is a problem with 6.5 I just don't think It wasn't meant to do this. I usually just change the backlight settings to not turn off for a longer amount of time.

Re: Window Media Player does not continue streaming audio in Suspend mode.

I dont think youve gotten a straight enough answer which is: No, there is no registry edit to allow it to do this in 6.5. Roms on 6.1 are able to do it but not 6.5.

I am curious why you are using wmp? Htc Audio Manager is what I use for Mp3, and tcpmp (link is in my sig) for EVERYTHING else

it's annoying how there's no resolution for the problem. also it's not only 6.5 this happens on newer SYS for 6.1

as for not using anything else. TCPMP doesn't continue streaming audio when i press the suspend button.
