Re: how do I establish activesync connection in bootloader mode

The memory card size is fine, I use a 8 gig as well. since it is stuck in bootloader try flashing from the computer. The thread "how to flash your touch pro" tells exactly how to do it. Although your phone wont appear under my computer or show an activsync connection you can still flash. Sorry that I cannot be any further help as I just recently started flashing and do not know all the ins and outs when it comes to the errors.

Okay I can't get a connection to my computer. That's what my issue is.

your computer nor phone will show a connection. If it still wont let you flash you could try a hard reset, that could get it out of the bootloader.

that is right except you have to push the soft reset as well. hold them all down til a gray screen comes with text prompting to erase.

Okay I did as you said and it still took me back to the gray bootloader screen. If I follow update prompt it will do the unlocking step again and take me back to the colorful screen.

sounds like it is trying to read the rom and the unlocker codes at the same time.. take you memory card out and try hard reseting again.

Re: how do I establish activesync connection in bootloader mode

get a thumb/flash drive what ever its called and put your sd card in it hook to read the card from your comp... make sure the .nbh is in the root of the card.. if it is make sure your card is a micro sdhc card..as with just an sd it wouldnt let me flash from the card... and then try hard reseting and see if it reads it... (I suggest the thumbdrive or what ever its called as its cheaper than buying a new phone lol) it doesnt sound like your phone is ruined it just sounds like yourdoing some thing wrong some where.

EDIT: as he said above me make sure you only have 1 .nbh file in there so its not trying to read 2 at once lol
