Help: Right Soft key randomly acts as if pressed
 

I'm having a strange problem with my Alltel Touch Pro. It started after installing Mighty Rom 5, but has continued after re-flashing, including re-flashing the stock Alltel ROM. The right soft key will random act as if it were pressed. The phone could be sitting on a table with no one touching it, and all of a sudden I'll see a program open or a menu popup, always from activation of the right soft key. It doesn't seem to matter what program is running at the time, nor what programs are installed on the device. I've started with a totally clean flash and still had the problem. Any ideas what's going on here and how to fix it? Thanks.
