Where can I download it and what does it do exactly? Sorry I'm just gathering all the cabs for when I install the New Sprint Rom

You can download it from the nue website. It's like the 2nd message in the thread.

Re: Main gribes w/ touch pro (under wm65)

nuePower looks awesome! It's a shame that the writer doesn't allow it to be built into these custom roms...

BUT..

Initially it was charging.. After about 10 minutes (heat related I'm sure), it stopped drawing any power So even with nuePower, it will drain while doing cpu intensive (or radio intensive) work

Will keep streaming for ~an hour or so to see if the power eventually goes up instead of draining..

This phone just runs too hot

What is the keyboard backlight cab you speak of? Does it increase the length of time the keyboard stays lit? If so, where did you get it?

Yeah I just redownloaded it because I'm flashing the new sprint rom soon.
nueKBlight, I just uploaded it and it's in WinRAR. It will require a soft reset (yes/no). After you do that and it resets. Go to
Start > Settings > System > Sliding Actions (towards the bottom) Backlight >
Check the "Keep backlight on when open under Keyboard Backlight. Hopefully that helps, if not I'll check back here soon.

It's also built into the nuePower control panel, available here -

Re: Main gribes w/ touch pro (under wm65)

Diomark...I followed the link you provided, and downloaded and installed the cab for the nuePowerCPL. I restarted my phone, but can't find that program anywhere on my phone. I check in my Remove Programs program, and it's listed in there as being installed. Where would it be? Any suggestions?

Edit:

Nevermind...lol. I just had to click into Power&Backlight in my Settings. DUH!!!

Re: Main gribes w/ touch pro (under wm65)

Ok...now I'm getting upset. So, I go into the new Power&Backlight settings. I set the keyboard light to not turn off unless no keys are pressed for 900 seconds...and it STILL turns off after 10 seconds. How the heck do I get it so that the keyboard stays lit, and doesn't turn off?

i've had this issue with every ppc phone i've had. especially with GPS. even with it plugged into my car with nuebattery installed with fast charge enabled, the battery will still drain when i'm using the GPS... fortunately, i don't drive far enough for the battery to completely die -- the furthest i've gone with the GPS active is a 2 hour drive... when i got there, the battery went down to 60% from a full charge... imagine if it wasn't plugged in with fast charge enabled :P

Juse use what I posted, I've been using that for two weeks now, never had a problem and I just put it back on after flashing a new rom.
