VZW TP With Insurance: Replacement due to screen scratches?

As the title says I have a VZW TP, and I have insurance on it. How bad do scratches have to be on the phone screen to get it replaced? For some stupid reason I never got around to putting a screen protector on it, and somehow I keep getting these mystery scratches on my screen. The first one was about half the length of the screen on the right, in the shape of a checkmark. The most recent I noticed today, it was not there last night, and it's like this little stutter thing up the middle. No idea how it got there.

I can see it, but not really feel it with my finger, but its definitely noticable when using the stylus.

How picky are they about replacements for these things, and how would I go about doing it?

well i cant say verizon but being a sprint tech and runnin a repair center
if someone comes in wanting to replace they're phone because they scratched up the screen they'd be paying a deductible because that's physical damage caused by the user, not wear and tear

I think you will end up with a 50$ Fee, Which is nowhere near a 25$ Cost for a FULL BODY Bodyguardz, invisible shield, etc.

I hope you learned your lesson :P

unless it effects the working of the phone they probably will not replace it. you can call the ins company and ask but im betting that will be your answer.

I don't care too much about having to pay a fee for it to be replaced, but is that what I'm looking at, like $50? If so that's not bad. I don't know if I even want to get a protector now considering the way it is, it almost seems like a waste. I mean it's not horrible, but I'm anal about it, so to me it sucks.

My old LG Voyager had one of those thick beefy body glove rubber cases. It didn't have a screen protector, but the body glove was so thick it kept everything away from the screen.

You know what I think is doing it? I keep my phone in my pocket. I bet the little rivet on the jeans above the pocket is catching it as I put it in and out.
