phone wont answer calls

i just got a TP as a replacement for my old mogul. so far only had two problems, very slow edvo speeds, and when some one calls and you hit the answer button the ring tone will stop, the button animates but it wont answer. doesn't answer with the hard button either. flashing to the telus radio fixed the internet speed problem, but still a 1 in 10 chance of actually getting a call lol. any suggestions. considering flashing to a differnt rom but for a few weeks gonna leave it semi stock in case it craps out on me just need it to work though. thanks

I know this is simple, but did you hard reset?
And what apps did you install?

Yea, the best thing anyone is gonna tell you is to hard reset. Test phone before installing any apps what so ever.

Re: phone wont answer calls

I have had the exact same issue. Using a juicy rom, and on other roms before this. If anything fixes this for you please post what solved the problem. I noticed if I force roaming on 1x I can answer calls no problem.

Re: phone wont answer calls

I had the same issue and I havent flashed any ROMS it seems to be a device issue which sprint and HTC will deny. However what I can say is that when I did a hard reset it took care of the problem with the phone not answering calls sometimes it can be a conflict between a third party app and the phone itself but a hard reset should fix your problem. Just make sure to back up your stuff and pay close attention when you install things to your phone so you can spot the problem file

Hope this helps

Re: phone wont answer calls

do the #777 reg fix in the essentials thread and you'll probably be fine. No hardreset necessary.

Re: phone wont answer calls

Use this for the 777 edit, it works the best of all of them available.
