Text messages take long time to load

My text messages take around 5 seconds to load in touchflo. Is this normal? Is there anyway of speeding it up like lowering the amount of text it loads? Running mighty 4.16.

when you say load, do you mean from the time it is sent to show up on your phone, or when you switch to the text tab, it takes that long to show up...

Mine takes a while to load also. It did that when I was running MR4.16. My guess is that its an abnormally normal thing for the ROM.

I might be wrong.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but what I mean is that when I press the sms tab, it takes around 5 seconds to load the most recent sms.

I'm pretty sure this is a bug/design flaw in Touch Flo. If you take a picture you will notice the new same delay for it to show in TF.

It's weird how emails load so quickly though. Is it possible to edit the number of sms it loads? Would that even make it load quicker?

The only way to edit the number of texts is to delete them. And even then I dont think it'll load any quicker. as ramiss said, it's more than likely just a design flaw in TF3d (it's known for the lags)

i am willing to bet that it is because you have so many texts, and tf3d is a skin, but it is still opening and loading all your messages. Its taking me a long time also, but im tooo stubborn to delete my texts...

ok, that makes sense...yea, its probably the combo of having tf3/2d and having a lot of text messages. i havent used tfd in a while, so i kinda forgot about all the lag issues i was having...

edit; wtf, why arent my pictures showing.....

Yah, I know I have a lot of text. I'm like you and don't want to delete them. I guess I'll just have to deal with the lag.
