Windows Vista & Mobile Device Center

I am trying to load a rom, using VISTA, and Mobile Device Center....

It seems all the instructions attached to roms are for XP and ActiveSync....

Anyone else using the junk I have? If so, some pointers please? I am trying to load the very simple Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition) Not at all a complicated rom, but only includes instructions with XP...

I am a noob, and this will be the first rom I load, this is why I am choosing a simple one.

OH!!!! One more thing, a MAJOR thing..... I CAN NOT even backup my contacts!!!???? Help is greatly appreciated...:::.....

Whenever it says activesync or sync, that just means to sync your phone to computer through activesync for xp or wmdc for vista.
