Auto Word Correction

So Ive looked through probably thousands of threads here and got lots of good info and apps.

Ive read about the auto word correction tweak "old school word correction"..

Is that just where the suggested words are listed under what you've started to type?

Or does it correct misspelled words or add apostrophes etc. For example on my blackberry if I wrote.. "i wont see u" it would automatically change it to
"I won't see you" the u to you because it let you add your own. Like I am from the south and say ya'll alot so i programmed it to automatically put in that apostrophe.

So is that what "old school" does? Cause I never had a Mogul. And if not can this be done at all? I got so slack in my typing esp with capatilizing and even the double space to add a period thing. If thats what it is then great, if not and this could be dont that would be awesome.

Also, is ther a way to view "all activity" for one contact? I know you can view all calls but can you view all calls, texts, emails, everything?

Re: Auto Word Correction

So I figured it out, this works. Only question I have is there anyway to get in and add new words and how they should be corrected. Like in the dictionary or something like that? That would be nice. Anyone know if this can be done and how?

To automatically correct "i" to "I"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Layouts\e0010409]
"Ime File"="\windows\compime.dll"
"Layout Text"="COMP IME"
use this and then go into setting input and enable auto correction!

.Hey there ...I found something that might help you a little bit, but you MUST disable the T9 function, there is a cab for that which I am including here.

Second there is another cab that works as a dictionary and as a word corrector that will do the things you are looking for so far it has worked for me and I hope it does the same for you ...

Let me know if you have any questions

HaHa thanks, funny thing is I just googled to find an answer somewhere else and my own thread was the first one that popped up. Thank you so much, I will do this now, and hopefully I can be a lazy typer again.
On a side note, is there a program like this for the PC that can autocorrect when typing in forums? haha
