Activesync locking up PC??

Is it possible that activesync is causing my pc to lock up? Ever since I got my touch pro, my pc will lock up when my phone is plugged into it. I'm thinking its not actually activesync tho because it never did it when I had my Q plugged into it and it seems in no way related to the syncronizing process....just randomly when plugged in.

Any suggestions?
