i forget what VZn was charging when i went, it was something like .50c for text sent and received and $1.99 or $2.99 per min for a call. i took the 6800 just to play games and take a few pics when i didnt want to drag the camera out.

Settings>Connections>Comm Manager you can turn shut off everything but Wi-Fi mode.

My CMDA Phone worked in Bermuda, not that I used it. Bermuda is GSM by the way.
