3G available. Need to update PRL but with Telus radio?
I had heard that if you change the ROM for the radio on the phone that you have to update the phone's PRL differently. Well as per the Verizon merge, Alltel now gives 3G connection options in our area. But I assume I'd have to update the PRL to get access. How would I go about doing that if it has to be done differently?

The radio as far as I know, only controls the hardware, not how it is used. *228 should still update the PRL, have you tried this yet?

No I hadnt yet. I'm still at work and need my phone. But I think you're right. Researching more it just seems like *automatic* PRL update will no longer work. However manual updating through *228 apparently works fine. I'll let you guys know when I try this evening.
