Re: Help, is there a logger of any kind?
I've never had that problem or read about something like that. The only instance I know of where the backlight turns on for seemingly no reason has something to do with the device's reception and tower communication. Are you on a EV/1x fringe area or have any signal fluctuations like that where you're at? And to answer your question, I'm not too sure if there's a logger for something like that, I could be wrong though.

Re: Help, is there a logger of any kind?
I dont have a super strong signal, but I get a constant EVDO signal.
Ive heard it turns on when a program starts a data connection or something. But I dont know, seems like it only does it once a night, becuase after I turned it off at 2am it didnt come back on. I am running Mighty ROM and alot of other apps are installed. So I dont really know what to narrow down. |

If something is running it should be listed under your task manager, I would think.

Ahh ha, I just installed G alarm when this started happening. I didnt think that would be the cause though, didnt see a reason for it. Hm, now IM more curious as to why ... This is prolly the program that is causing it. BKhoste, I know that, but since I am asleep and there are multiple applications running it makes it kinda hard to check ya know? I was trying to find out if there was a way that you can see what programs are doing during certian times... Im gonna try turning off galarm for a night and see if thats it. Anyone know why it might turn the backlight on? |
