Re: Maximize battery life...

I cannot stress this enough. Make the data connection turn off when not in use. It will make a world of difference. I had the data connection on while at school, about 2 hours later I was about 40%.

Signal strength is what determines how much batt you phone will use. When I am at home at full EVDO signal, I get a few days out of one charge.

I promise you, get rid of that always on data, and you batt problmes will virtually go away.

Thumbs up Re: Maximize battery life...

A friend of mine sent me this cab a while back and it helped me improve the battery life of my TP and BF's Diamond. Do not know what the tweaks are, but the only thing I know is that it was work for me like a charm.

Try it for yourself and if you do not like it, since it is a cab file, you can just remove it

Sincerely,
Shin_Akuma26

PS: Let me know how it works for you guys and if I helped you somehow press the Thank You button
PS1: I also see that people are having trouble extracting the file from the rar, so I am adding the rar version for PPC. Once you have this is your phone I think it will be easier for all.

Attached Files
File Type: rar BatteryPerformance.rar (850 Bytes, 279 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: cab rar.ppc_arm.cab (346.4 KB, 208 views) Click for barcode!

yea i hear your pain bro. i hate being married to a flunking cord, thats why i got the extended battery.

but the thing is that they try to put to much stuff like crystal clear screen and a lot of plugins, but havent found a way how to upgrade battery tech to keep up with that..

Well with decent amount of talking and texting ( I txt like crazy ) and some moderate internet browsing with a single charge it lasted almost three days.
