Turning off on-screen keyboard for opera mobile

The little on-screen keyboard always pops up when i'm about to input something, even with my phone in landscape with the phone keyboard out. There must be a way to turn this off but I can't seem to figure it out. I tried choosing my input as phone keyboard but that does not work. Can someone please help me out.

Bump. I have a hunch most people who have viewed this know how to turn off the on-screen keyboard. Can someone please reply to this (even to say that they don't know how) so I can give this up. Thanks in advance.

I can confirm that there is a reg edit. I saw the article yesterday and I'll look around.

All I know is that you can disable the on screen keyboard for everything. Not sure if you can only disable it for 1 program.

Search for "null keyboard" I believe that is what the .cab is called.
