Copper and Second Today; Remapped soft key doesn't stay remapped

Sorry if anyone feels this shouldn't be here. I would've posted in the Copper thread in the CDMA Upgrades sub-forum, but that thread is so incredibly cluttered at the moment, I wasn't sure if my question would be seen before the thread progressed another 10 pages.

Anyway, I'd been using Second Today for WeatherPanel on MightyROM and had absolutely loved being able to set the left soft key as the key to toggle between TF3D and full screen WeatherPanel.

Second Today seems to function just fine with Copper. If I navigate to it in the Programs menu, I am able to toggle between the Home screen full screen WeatherPanel just fine. I was also able to go into the Second Today settings and set the left soft key as the key to toggle between the Home screen and full screen WeatherPanel. However, after any soft reset those changes appear to vanish, and I have to remap the left soft key all over again.

Is anyone else having this issue? If so, is there any resolution?

Thanks!
Zach

Re: Copper and Second Today; Remapped soft key doesn't stay remapped

I am having the same issue. My solution was to assign second today to the long press SEND key. This way I get second today holding the send down & back to the copper screen by pressing the today button. It would be perfect if I could assign a second function to the today button.

Another solution I am going to try is to add a Panel to select second Today & name it Weatherpanel

Actually that's not a bad idea, thanks! I should be able to manage with this fix until the soft key mapping issue can be fixed. And if it can't, oh well.
