Uh oh. Finger works on Touch screen but Stylus doesn't? *RESOLVED*
 

Sorry for all the posts guys but this has been an adventure. Again This is my Alltel Touch Pro. I have MightyROM 4.16 installed. All of a sudden I'm noticing that while I can control my Touch Pro with ease with my finger, my stylus cant control anything on the screen. Is it the ROM possibly? I really dont want to have to reinstall the ROM but I guess I will if I have to. Is there a possibility the Touchscreen might be malfunctioning? Has anyone else experienced this?

considering the screen is resistive and not capacitive anything touching it works, roms wouldn't affect this at all. Either your being too gentile with your stylus or you dropped it one too many times.

I didn't even think about recalibration. I calibrated it originally with my thumb. I recalibrated with my stylus and now it works perfectly. Thank you so much I'm such an idiot sometimes! ](*,)

As to dropping, the phone is only 2 weeks old and I even set it down now with utmost care. I'm not the richest guy and this thing is my new pet so I almost baby it! :evil4:

my concern is a defective device. I'd put a stock rom on, relock and take it in for repair. I hope you have warranty.

Yes this happened to me and i did a hard reset and recalibrate and it fixed it....Try just the recalibration first.
