Need Avi codec for tp

Hi everybody can anyone recommend a good free codec or player that will allow me to play .avi files on my touch pro?

I think there are quite a few out there. A pretty good one might be DivX Mobile. Or you could try the ever-popular TCPMP.

kool thanks man im gonna install it now... just curious will this allow me to play then in media player or is it a new player?

thanks guys this thing works great! i've been playing with it for like 4 hours now trying to figure out how to get the sound to sync with the video.

anyone know if i need to go plus (+) or minus (-) in the sync settings to get the a/v in sync?
