6.5 & battery life..?

Anybody else notice that their battery seems to run down a tad bit quicker since the flash to 6.5 or is that just me who is experiencing this?

Re: 6.5 & battery life..?

I've noticed that.

When I go home in the evening, I normally have 80% left (Juicy 6, light usage). With the Phantom rom, I arrived home with only 50% battery left (light usage too). There could be other causes as I only had the 6.5 rom for a couple of days.

Re: 6.5 & battery life..?

There's one thing I've noticed. I loaded copper and installed all my usual stuff (not that much) and was getting around 300 - 400 mA Discharge current draw. So I hard reset and installed things one by one to find out that sprite terminator was causing this for whatever rerason. So I installed nueGPSSecurity for now but I really wish I could have my sprite terminator

Re: 6.5 & battery life..?

A clean WM6.5 ROM without anyone elses tweaks will give you good battery life, better then 6.1 on touch pro.

Thanks for that. That's probably why I experienced poor battery life with 6.5.

I hope that can be fixed, because I'd like to keep using sprite terminator.

I may have found a fix. Let me do some more testing and get back with the answer

Re: 6.5 & battery life..?

i have found that 6.5 gets WAY BETTER battery life than 6.1. on most 6.1 ROMs with my daily use, i would generally have ~40-50% by the time i get home from work. for the past 2 weeks, on various 6.5 ROMs, i have been getting home from work with no less than 80% left!!!! if you find otherwise, odds are something you installed is acting up and draining your battery. 6.5 on it's own is definitely a very noticeable improvement over 6.1 on this device.

Re: 6.5 & battery life..?

My battery life isn't as great as 6.1. I end up at about 20% at the end of the day after usual use. Might be due to PP being set to 24. I use to end up with about 50%.
