Speeding up the Messages Tab's "Draw"/Rendering?

Is there a way to make the text on the "Messages" tab appear more quickly? As it stands, every other tab in TF3d appears instantly, with the exception of the .2s delay on the "Mail" tab. But "Messages" takes a solid 2 seconds before I see anything but the title at the top. I was thinking it was a cache/storage issue, but even after deleting all drafts and all items in my "Deleted Messages" folder it didn't change, at least not noticeably.

Any ideas?

After quite a bit of searching I've come up with this theory:

The only way it would be possible to make the "draw" speed faster is to increase the size of the pagepool. To my knowledge, the only way to do this would require me to completely redo my ROM and effectively, every tweak and app I've got installed. Sound about right?

You don't necessarily have to have a fix to post in this thread. About how long would you say it takes for the text of a message to appear on your Messages tab when you slide your finger over to it in TF3D? Would changing my right soft key to "Messages" have any effect?
