Water indicator sticker on replacement Sprint TP
 

I got a replacement Sprint Touch Pro through Sprint's Advanced Exchange program. The replacement phone looks new, but the water indicator sticker looks like the top layer was scraped off. It does not have the nice checkered red lines like my original phone. Has anyone experienced this on a replacement TP? I worry that I may run into warranty issues if this replacement phone has issues, because it looks like the sticker has been tampered with.

Have you checked to see if there's a refurb date?

That's in the ##778# menu, correct? There is no date there, but is that always updated when a phone is refurbed?

yeah I'm pretty sure it's standard policy for them to tell u if it's a refurb by putting in a date there.

The water indicator thing might have changed in newer versions. Maybe having red stripes was getting too confusing, so now it's all red or all white.

One time I got a refurbished phone and it didn't say refurbished in the #778 menu.

What it did say was "REC TREO 755" when I added it to my Sprint online account though.
