6.5 Change Soft Keys..What Program Does this?
 

Im trying to change the soft keys on the default windows 6.5 today screen. I know the right key will change as you scroll, but i want to make the left soft key permanently my camera button. What program does this or what reg. edit can i use?

HKLM>Software>Microsoft>Chome
SK1TEXT is what the button is labeled.
SK1URL is the path to the app.

I see the string value for this is :MSCONTACTS


would it be :MSCAMERA or :CAMERA for the string value to get it to make that the left soft key?

:MSCONTACTS is the string to bring up contacts. To have it launch another app just type the string to the app.

For the camera, just put in "camera.exe"

so this is based on if the exe is in the windows directory? I suppose you would have to type out the path if it was located in program files?

That's correct. I have been typing out the path anyway, even if it is in windows.
