you can also try http://www.mymobiler.com/, its actually remote display software, you can control your phone from your pc, in the same time it has a capture option for images, it saves them pretty clear and no choppiness.

Manilla is silky smooth if you have it tweaked right. Usually off of one of these custom ROM's...the stock manilla out of the box drove me nutz!
Bump to the mention of the TP2 build...its slick and smooth!! Try KK's loaded 2.0 beta 2 (his 1.8 is stable and the ROM is loaded with programs already! MightMike has a pretty decent ROM (from reading up in the forums) |

I didn't hate Manila but developed a preference for the PointUI2 interface myself. Might try SBH Mobile Shell though at some point..

Re: help a lady out....does anyone else hate manilla?
I turned it off immediately. From a work standpoint it only made using the phone more cumbersome and didn't show me the data I wanted to see when I turned the phone on - specifically time, messages, vm and all calendar events for the day. Scrolling around to get to programs and such got old really quickly as well. It's fancy but didn't seem very practical.

text on top of text usually is a result of having "clear type in landscape" enabled.
