Extract CAB from EXE without activesync?

Any way of extracting cabs from .exe files without installing activesync?
I'm using a public computer with restricted rights and need to install apps on the touch pro.
I can copy them to SD card, but only in form of cab.
Any ideas?

use heaventools PEexplorer to extract the cab resourse to file.. or there may be plenty of other resourse hackers that can do this

Maybe this will work!
But the program itself requires admin rights for install
Which I do not have on this PC.

EDIT: I was able to install the .msi version. I cannot see the cab in resources...

EDIT2: Tried several resource viewes no success

I just use PocketRar. It can't extract the .cab from every .exe, but it can do most.

yes, it does it on the phone. I made it into a .cab. Did you want the .exe instead?

Just tap and hold the item you want to extract, it will give you a dropdown with the option to extract and to choose a location to extract to.

Maybe for self extracting exe's it will work...
Any other way?

post the exe here, maybee someone will be nice enough to install and intercept the .cab for you

I was gonna say, just use WinRAR... I been doing that forever. That way you have exactly what's being installed, with out the subsidiary junk people are stinking in these exes.

Winrar is what I posted for him already, PocketRAR. It's the mobile version. Hmmm, not sure why that won't work for you, works for me. You must have a real strange file there.
