disable delivery receipt in arcsoft?

i'm having a problem with the delivery receipt. once i send a picmail, a few minutes later it comes in, but it locks the phone up for a good 30 seconds if i send a pic to 5 or more people, and i'm wondering now...is there a way to disable it? i have the palm pro version on the stock sprint rom.
